William B. Dulaney is a member of Howard & Jensen LLC. Mr. Dulaney has extensive experience in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage and bad faith, banking, and family law. He is also a key member of the firm’s estate planning practice.

  • Lead counsel in negotiation of favorable defense settlement in catastrophic brain injury claim arising from a multi-vehicle truck collision

Background


Prior to becoming a member of Howard and Jensen LLC, Mr. Dulaney was a litigator in the Colorado Springs and Denver offices of Dewhirst & Dolven, LLC – a premier defense litigation firm in the Mountain region. Before joining Dewhirst & Dolven, Mr. Dulaney worked as a litigator for Hedrick Gardner – one of the Southeast’s top litigation defense firms. Mr. Dulaney also served as law clerk for the Honorable Judge Ronald J. Freeman in Camden, New Jersey prior to entering private practice.

In law school, Mr. Dulaney served on the Editorial Board of the Temple Environmental Law & Technology Journal. He also served as the legal intern for the Philadelphia Office of Safe Schools Advocate. 

Mr. Dulaney received his bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College with the major in psychology, where he also earned all-conference and most valuable player honors as goalkeeper on the soccer team. While attending Swarthmore, Mr. Dulaney also studied Chinese philosophy and medicine in Shanghai, China.

Community Involvement


Mr. Dulaney currently serves as a director on the boards of directors for the Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation (CSOF) and The Greenberg Center for Learning and Tolerance. Mr. Dulaney is a member of the Colorado Springs Executives Association. Mr. Dulaney’s legal associations include: the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the El Paso County Bar Association.
