Erin M. Jensen is a managing member of Howard & Jensen LLC.  His legal practice focuses on commercial and tort litigation, real estate and construction law, corporate transactions, and employment law. Mr. Jensen also serves as general counsel to a broad range of entities and individuals.

Representative Matters

  • Successfully defended client in a complex receivership hearing regarding numerous entities and over $200M in assets
  • Drafted and negotiated design-build construction contract for a $500M PPP project
  • Obtained a $2.4M structured settlement for a personal injury client
  • Obtained an $8M judgment for client in a mechanic’s lien foreclosure action

Background


Prior to the formation of Howard & Jensen LLC, Mr. Jensen was a commercial litigator and transactional attorney in the Colorado Springs and Denver offices of Hogan Lovells - an international law firm with more than 2,500 attorneys in 40 offices worldwide. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Mr. Jensen worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Daniel V. Zemaitis in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

In law school, Mr. Jensen served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Business and Securities Law, the Executive Director of the Moot Court Trial Program, and a National Appellate Advocate. Prior to law school, Mr. Jensen owned and operated a construction company and served as a part-time tactical firearms instructor for law enforcement.

Community Involvement


Mr. Jensen currently serves on the board of directors for Cheyenne Mountain Public Broadcast House, Inc. (known as KCME 88.7) as well as Cub Master for Boy Scout Pack 599.  Mr. Jensen also volunteers his time at various local organizations.

Mr. Jensen is a member of the Colorado Springs Executives Association, the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, and is an active member in his church.
